Valley of Flowers National Park in Uttarakhand is a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its vibrant alpine meadows. Discovered accidentally by British mountaineers in 1931, Valley of Flowers National Park is a high-altitude valley (3,200m to 3,658m) featuring over 500 species of wildflowers, including the rare Brahma Kamal and Himalayan Blue Poppy. Valley of Flowers National Park is only open for travel from June to October.
