Surinsar Lake, located about 30–40 km from Jammu, is a picturesque freshwater lake surrounded by dense forests and hills, forming part of the Surinsar-Mansar Wildlife Sanctuary. Considered a twin to the nearby Mansar Lake, Surinsar Lake is a popular destination for picnics, nature walks, birdwatching, and boating.
