Mekedatu, which translates to "Goat's Leap" in Kannada, is a popular day-trip travel destination approximately 100 km from Bangalore where the Kaveri and Arkavati rivers meet. From a travel perspective, Mekedatu is a mix of scenic beauty, mythological intrigue, and a somewhat rugged, adventurous journey.
