Mansar Lake is a scenic freshwater lake located in the Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir, approximately 62 km from Jammu city. Encircled by forest-covered hills and ancient temples, Mansar Lake is considered a sacred site with strong ties to Hindu mythology and the epic Mahabharata. Popular activities at Mansar Lake include boating, feeding the abundant school of fish (often with wheat flour dough provided by local vendors), and birdwatching.
