The Arunachaleswarar Temple (also known as Annamalaiyar Temple) in Thiruvannamalai is one of India's largest and most sacred Hindu shrines. Located at the foot of the sacred Arunachala Hill, it is dedicated to Lord Shiva and represents the element of Fire (Agni) among the five Pancha Bhoota Sthalams.
